Job summary

Globalpundits, Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced mechanical/nuclear engineer to design reactor servicing tools, inspection equipment, and control systems.

You will work with NSSS Component Design and Civil/Structural teams to ensure interfaces meet performance requirements, while producing engineering reports, descriptions, drawings, and calculations. Candidates should have a BS in engineering (ABET preferred) with 5+ years of relevant experience and be eligible for DOE 10 CFR

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time, relevant professional experience in engineering design and documentation.
• Eligibility to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.
• PE license in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reactor servicing tools, inspection equipment, and control systems.
• Prepare, check, and review engineering reports and drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with NSSS Component Design and Civil/Structural teams to ensure interfaces meet requirements.
• Plan and organize complex engineering work and support procurement activities.
• Self-manage workload and deadlines.
• Travel nationally and locally as required.
