Job summary

EnergySolutions is seeking a senior Quality Control leader to establish and implement QC programs, oversee inspections and vendor performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across nuclear fabrication projects. You will manage QC staff, develop plans and checklists, review NDE and welding docs, and drive continuous improvement.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, 15+ years in QC, 5+ years supervisory experience, and NDT certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 15+ years in quality control with nuclear fabrication experience.
• 5+ years in a supervisory role overseeing QC staff.
• Experience developing QC programs for fabrication of nuclear facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements QC efforts to ensure conformance to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provides oversight and training to QC staff to ensure compliance and high-quality outcomes.
• Manages staff selection, development and retention with performance reviews.
• Reviews and approves vendor submittals including welding procedures and NDT records.
• Performs independent inspections and supports resolution of nonconforming conditions.
• Develops and maintains QC plans and inspection checklists for fabrication activities.
