Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a QA NDE Technician to help ensure pump components for the nuclear industry meet rigorous engineering, customer, and quality requirements. You will perform non-destructive examination and dimensional inspection activities to protect product integrity, maintain traceability, and support on-time release of controlled materials.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and plant leadership in a high-accountability environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold ASNT Level II certification in one or more NDE methods per SNT-TC-1A.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings with GD&T for rotating equipment or precision components.
• Experience inspecting in manufacturing or repair environments.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain Level II NDE qualifications per SNT-TC-1A, approved procedures, and nuclear QA requirements.
• Conduct visual, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and radiographic examinations as qualified.
• Perform inspections using calibrated measuring and test equipment.
• Document inspection results clearly and completely to provide objective evidence.
• Review drawings, inspection instructions, work orders, and specs to verify conformance.
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming conditions and support corrective actions.
• Verify purchased materials and components meet PO, engineering, and QA requirements.
• Maintain material identification, traceability, and status controls through receiving, production, shipment.
• Support timely completion of quality, engineering, and customer documentation for controlled shipments.
• Assist with training and qualifying other inspection personnel and provide guidance through standards.
• Escalate unclear conditions or quality risks to Facility Quality Manager.
