Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to manage the nuclear QA audit program under ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will be responsible for maintaining qualification records, delivering findings to stakeholders, and ensuring independence from the work audited across projects and sites. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or can qualify within 90 days (training, audits, exam).
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing.
• Familiar with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end-to-end: notification, checklist, entrance/travel, evidence, findings, exit, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items/services.
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, verify effectiveness, close them with evidence.
• Maintain qualification records and support external audits of the program.
