Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program aligned with ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure on projects where the licensee's quality organization audits.

You will maintain qualification records, supervise audit teams, and ensure independence from the work audited.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal audits and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions to closure.
