Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to manage the nuclear QA audit program under ASME NQA-1, lead internal and supplier audits, and verify corrective actions to closure. You will plan the schedule, supervise a team, and ensure independence from audited work.

You must have NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or be qualifying within 90 days, with 5+ years in nuclear QA and capability auditing to 10 CFR standards; ASQ CQA is a plus. Travel and on-site reviews required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience in construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspector could follow without discussion.
• Willingness to travel and interact with licensee personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
