Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Project Quality Assurance Specialist (ID 4009) in Idaho Falls, ID to lead and improve quality processes within a nuclear program, ensuring deliverables meet requirements and traceability is maintained.

You will partner with project management, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to drive quality, support audits, and document compliance to safety, regulatory, and customer expectations. US citizenship is required for government contracts.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of QA principles, document control, records management, and corrective action.
• Ability to interpret project requirements, procedures, specifications, standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Ability to review technical and project documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate across technical and nontechnical functions and communicate quality concerns clearly.
• Proficiency with standard office tools and electronic quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Experience supporting nuclear energy, nuclear fuel cycle, advanced reactor, DOE/ NASA, or other regulated technical projects.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of project quality assurance plans, procedures, and related quality documentation.
• Review project documents, technical deliverables, records, and work products for completeness, accuracy, traceability, and compliance with approved requirements.
• Coordinate quality assurance activities with project management, engineering, procurement, suppliers, and other functional organizations.
• Participate in project reviews, surveillances, assessments, audits, and inspections, and document results.
