Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Idaho Falls, ID is seeking a Deputy Project Quality Manager to lead development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) on a nuclear construction project. You will manage QA activities, audits, and staff to ensure full regulatory compliance.

This role requires extensive nuclear quality experience, leadership, and strong collaboration with client teams to uphold safety and quality standards across the project.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred in engineering, science, or technical college plus 5–10 years nuclear quality experience.
• Associate degree plus 5–15 years nuclear quality/related construction experience.
• High school diploma with 10–20 years of related construction/engineering experience including nuclear quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a contract-specific Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Review and approve subcontractor quality plans to ensure contract compliance.
• Lead a Nuclear Quality Assurance Program in a construction environment including CI, audits, and corrective actions.
• Mentor QA/QC staff and maintain a nuclear safety culture on site.
• Coordinate with district quality management to ensure consistent implementation.
