Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior technical project leader to manage projects in the nuclear power sector from Knoxville, coordinating engineers, designers, controls and schedulers to design, modify and analyse plant modifications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external teams, budget oversight and schedule development; extensive multi-disciplinary experience is required for success.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• 10+ years of experience in a technical field (engineering, construction, planning, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience with serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities is critical to success
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting
• Schedule development and management
• Budget management

Responsibilities

• Manage project(s) consisting of engineers, designers, controls and scheduling professionals involved in design, modification, and analysis of nuclear plant modifications.
• Coordinate with multiple internal and external departments to manage the life cycle of project execution.
