Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. in Richland, WA is seeking a Project Manager to lead defined work segments, drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance, and coordinate across construction, safety, engineering, procurement, and client teams.

You will develop and maintain project plans, manage resources and budgets, and ensure readiness and compliance with policies. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Four-year technical or business administration degree or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of project management experience and one year in an industrial environment.
• Applied knowledge of industrial project work, financial operations, project controls methods/standards, estimating, and employee relations.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project work groups to ensure alignment with execution goals and track actions across groups.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly review project schedules for accuracy.
• Create and implement action plans to address schedule performance issues.
• Monitor project metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule) for assigned segments.
• Identify resource constraints and report them per the change management process.
• Work with the construction team to develop staffing plans and manpower loading forecasts.
• Ensure materials and services are identified, ordered, and delivery risks managed.
• Lead a cross-functional team across departments as applicable.
