Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Wilmington, NC, seeks a Senior Project Manager – Fuels to lead end-to-end project delivery for the Fuel Business (Global Nuclear Fuel).

You will coordinate scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality with internal teams, vendors, and customers to deliver high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate has extensive nuclear industry experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (equivalent experience/education in the nuclear industry will be considered with project management experience).
• Minimum 5 years experience in the Nuclear industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
• Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects (with multi-disciplinary team).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of project management for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, business policies and all aspects of quality.
• Interface with government project leadership for audits, property tracking, government sourcing, finance, and contract management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and schedules.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and report progress to stakeholders and customers.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage change orders as needed to address project scope changes or non-standard events.
