Job summary

Nano Nuclear Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex nuclear fuel initiatives in Washington, DC. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, QA, and operations while interfacing with NRC, labs, vendors, and government bodies.

You will translate progress into actionable plans, manage schedules and budgets, and drive projects through regulatory and safety requirements with visibility and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
• 10+ years of project management experience in nuclear, energy, or manufacturing
• Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception through completion
• Construction management and/or development project experience
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Knowledge of PM methodologies and tools (MS Project/Primavera)
• PMP certification preferred; bilingual Spanish capabilities may be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, QA, operations, and external partners
• Translate engineering progress into clear schedules, milestones, and updates
• Monitor project performance and adjust plans to meet milestones
• Manage docs, reporting, and contractual deliverables
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards
