Job summary

Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Project Engineer to coordinate and manage multi-discipline engineering services supporting high-priority programs. You will report to Facility Engineering, Product & Manufacturing Engineering, or Safety Analysis Engineering, coordinating personnel across these groups to meet scope, cost, and schedule.

A DOE clearance is required, and U.S. citizenship may be necessary.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in engineering/physical science (US or equivalent)
• MS in engineering/physical science with 2 years relevant experience
• PhD in engineering/physical science
• GPA: 3.0/4.0 (BS), 3.3 (MS), 3.5 (PhD)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage multi-discipline engineering services for programs and projects.
• Direct development and execution of project scopes within budget and schedule.
• Support major facility upgrades, technology maturation, and new tech implementations.
• Coordinate resources across Facility Eng, Product & Manufacturing Eng, and Safety Analysis Eng.
