Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Procurement Engineering Specialist at varying levels to support nuclear plant procurement with rigorous technical and quality requirements. You will perform PE Evals, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with QA programs.

The role emphasizes qualification training, documentation, and collaboration with suppliers to identify savings while maintaining safety and regulatory commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Procurement engineering experience: Specialist II 1+ year / 5+ years without a degree; Specialist III 3+ years; Senior 6+ years; Senior Lead 8+ years.
• Professional engineering license and/or Senior Reactor Operator desired.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical and quality requirements for materials, parts and contracts per Entergy QA.
• Perform PE Evals, including 2nd level reviews and select supervisory approvals.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Identify cost-savings and efficiency improvements during PE Eval processes.
• Support procurement and contract activities through qualification and documentation.
