Job summary

Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. in North Carolina seeks a Nuclear Quality Technical Leader II to bridge technical execution and regulatory compliance, ensuring QA and procurement align with ASME NQA-1 and NRC requirements.

You will lead NQA-1 program execution, Part 21 evaluations, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B oversight, CGD, and supplier quality initiatives, with autonomy to guide complex projects within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with nuclear QA programs and CGD preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (NQA-1, Part 21, Part 50).

Responsibilities

• Direct the implementation of ASME NQA-1 quality program.
• Lead evaluation processes for safety issues and nonconformances.
• Oversee 10 CFR 50 Appendix B oversight and CGD processes.
• Lead supplier quality programs and audits.
• Review safety-related procurement requisitions and flow-down of quality clauses.
