Job summary

Entergy Operations, Inc. – EO I is seeking a Plant Support Engineer to provide technical support for plant systems and programs.

You will resolve day‑to‑day plant issues, maintain configuration control, and support Maintenance and Operations, serving as a key interface across station departments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting emergent conditions, developing engineering changes, and leading improvements for system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program or related physical science with power plant operations experience.
• Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering is desired.
• Experience levels vary by position: I to Sr levels with increasing years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve plant issues, including significant events and complex challenges.
• Provide technical support to Maintenance and Operations for troubleshooting equipment and emergent conditions.
• Develop and issue engineering changes to support plant needs and equipment reliability.
• Maintain ERO qualifications and perform related duties.
