Job summary

Entergy Operations, Inc. seeks a Plant Support Engineer to provide technical support for plant systems, resolve day‑to‑day issues, and ensure reliability. You will interface between Engineering and station departments, contributing to troubleshooting and long‑term program health.

The role spans cross‑functional collaboration to resolve equipment challenges, develop engineering change products, and support the work management process across outages and refueling activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering is desired.
• Related discipline or equivalent work experience at engineer/technical level.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve plant issues, including complex events.
• Provide technical support to Maintenance and Operations for troubleshooting.
• Develop and issue engineering changes and modifications.
• Maintain ERO qualifications and related duties as required.
• Guide program bases, compliance, and industry operating experience.
• Conduct condition-based monitoring and optimize preventive maintenance.
• Plan and support project lifecycle activities and action plans.
• Prepare engineering products per standards and quality expectations.
• Support changes in system configuration and design basis.
• Serve on outage engineering teams for online and refueling outages.
• Monitor system performance, trends, and priority setting.
• Perform root cause analyses and coordinate lessons learned.
• Maintain required training and qualifications for duties.
