Job summary

ENERCON seeks a Project Engineer to support Power Uprate initiatives within its Nuclear Services Group. You will lead complex engineering tasks, coordinate with SMEs and project managers, and ensure safe, cost-effective, regulatory-compliant solutions across the U.S.

In this role you will influence budgets, schedules, and client communications, while mentoring junior engineers and pursuing growth into uprate studies and new reactor technologies. Remote options exist for select locations.

Qualifications

  • Design Engineering experience with modification and implementation in power facilities.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
  • PE license strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discussions and align team to meet quality and deadlines.
  • Manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify opportunities while mentoring the team.
  • Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and act as technical lead.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects on schedule and within budget with regular financial reporting.
  • Support marketing efforts by identifying opportunities and preparing proposals.
