Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support Power Uprate initiatives within our Nuclear Services Group. Lead planning and execution of complex engineering tasks to increase reactor output, improve performance, and ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with SMEs, project managers, and clients to deliver high-impact energy solutions. The role offers growth into leadership pathways and opportunities across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering or PMP certification with 10 years' experience.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in nuclear, power, or industrial sectors as Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ability to understand and work with budgets and accounting processes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to travel 10–15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions and align teams to meet quality and deadlines.
• Manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader for client satisfaction.
• Plan, execute, and finalize projects within schedule and budget; report on financial status.
• Develop winning technical proposals and support marketing efforts.
