Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support Power Uprate initiatives within the Nuclear Services Group. You will lead design engineering efforts for safety-compliant and cost-effective uprates across the U.S., coordinating with clients and SMEs to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes strategic growth, mentorship, and cross-disciplinary leadership, with travel up to 10-15% and opportunities to advance toward uprate specialist roles.

Qualifications

• Design engineering experience with modification and implementation in power facilities.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or PMP with 10 years' experience.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions and align team to meet quality and deadlines while keeping clients informed and engaged.
• Dive into problem-solving, manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities.
• Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader.
• Plan, execute, and finalize projects within schedule and budget; manage project staff and financials.
• Develop winning technical proposals and support marketing with new opportunities and follow-up.
• Mentor and develop junior staff toward uprate leadership roles.
