Job summary
TerraPower LLC in Bellevue, WA seeks a Manager of Plant Design Integration to lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, oversee design definition, and integrate the Natrium nuclear island plant design across domains.
Responsibilities include shaping plant architecture, leading design reviews, aligning with licensing and safety analyses, and ensuring timely delivery of integration plans and specifications. Requires 10+ years in nuclear engineering and strong leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of nuclear engineering experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory or mentoring experience.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering leadership.
- Knowledge of NRC/DOE regulations and licensing approaches.
- ANSI/ANS 3.1 qualification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Leads a geographically diverse team and partners with design organizations on integrated plant design deliverables.
- Communicates plant architecture, system interactions, and design assumptions.
- Produces plant-level integration plans, strategies, and design specifications.
- Mentors the Plant Design Products team and supports integration reviews.
- Resolves major multi-discipline design issues and decisions.
- Ensures alignment with Licensing Modernization Process and risk-informed evaluations.
- Manages staffing, schedules, and performance; supports hiring.
