Job summary

TerraPower, based in Bellevue, WA, seeks a Technical Lead, Electrical Systems to drive design and integration of electrical systems for Natrium project. You will coordinate with TerraPower’s Nuclear Island team and the EPC partner in Reston, VA, ensuring correct interfaces, schedules, and technical rigor.

The role requires a BS in engineering with at least 10 years in electrical systems, nuclear familiarity, and strong leadership, writing, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum ten years of direct electrical systems experience, preferably in nuclear plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities: Specify inputs/outputs, assign personnel, oversee execution.
• Review electrical system deliverables and mentor junior staff.
• Manage handoffs between TerraPower and EPC partner; ensure interfaces are defined.
• Provide technical direction to partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Support licensing content, including OLA input management and RAIs.
• Demonstrate leadership in safety and quality; enforce project standards.
• Own activities in the Integrated Master Schedule and manage project timing.
• Act as Technical Representative for contractor staff and resource alignment.
