Job summary

GE Vernova in Longmont, CO seeks a Lead Engineer to drive global regulatory compliance for GP Controls Platform products, including nuclear projects. You will collaborate with Controls Engineering, STG Controls Engineering and customer teams to ensure certification across UL/CSA, IEC, CE and nuclear standards.

The role involves developing compliance plans, interfacing with authorities, and delivering manufacturing oversight, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited college/university.
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering design (Nuclear Energy preferred).
• 2+ years working with IEC, EU Directives & Americas Codes & Standards.
• 1+ year of Industrial Control product knowledge (GE Mark, LS2100e, EX2100e or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical compliance for SCS projects and NPIs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Field teams.
• Manage compliance documentation and inspections.
• Interface with external agencies and government bodies.
