Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Nuclear Pharmacy to lead a regional nuclear pharmacy, ensuring safe and compliant operations and timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals. You will guide staff, uphold regulatory standards, and partner with sales to align product commitments.

Ideal candidates bring a PharmD or PharmB, a valid license, nuclear pharmacy training, and 8–12 years of experience with supervisory responsibilities. Expect diverse shifts, travel, and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Valid pharmacist license in the operating state or in process.
• Minimum 200 hours of nuclear pharmacy training through an accredited program.
• 8-12 years of related pharmacy experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
• Ability to travel to regional meetings and customer sites as needed.
• Authorized user preferred; strong budget and people management skills.
• Proven ability to develop and lead all aspects of pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct nuclear pharmacy operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Maintain regulatory alignment with state and federal guidelines.
• Oversee fleet logistics for radiopharmaceutical delivery and decay management.
• Supervise pharmaceutical and fleet staff and drive performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales on product commitments and pricing within guidelines.
• Manage departmental budget and report financial performance.
