Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate radiopharmaceuticals in a highly regulated setting. You will work in a 24/7 environment, contribute to quality, efficiency, and patient care, and lead staff in nuclear pharmacy operations.

The role requires a PharmD or equivalent, a valid Ohio pharmacist license, and readiness to support a rotating schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required by start date.
• Valid Pharmacist's license in Ohio, or able to obtain a valid license.
• Experience with nuclear medications and quality testing preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, on-call, and in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical care to patients as a staff pharmacist, including compounding of nuclear medications and directing distribution of medication.
• Maintains inventory and procures drugs to ensure continuous supply and mitigate risks.
• Leads hiring, onboarding, and performance management of pharmacy staff; oversees competency evaluations.
• Manages workflows to optimize staffing and scheduling for efficient operations.
• Contributes to cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and profitable growth in nuclear pharmacy.
• Maintains relationships with suppliers and participates in demand planning.
• Performs other duties including delivering doses as needed.
