You will work in a highly regulated setting, applying precision and clinical knowledge to support diagnostic and therapeutic medicine. The role involves compounding, quality testing, inventory management, and leadership of staff across shifts, with some travel and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the relevant state or in progress.
• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other pharmacies as needed.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity for handling radiopharmaceuticals.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, or in rotation.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Authorized User certification preferred; Nuclear Pharmacy Training can be provided.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading/writing).

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients as staff pharmacist, including compounding nuclear medications, quality testing through chromatography, and directing distribution with a team of drivers.
• Assess and maintain pharmacy inventory and manage orders to ensure drug availability; source alternatives as needed.
• Lead hiring, onboarding and performance management of pharmacy staff.
• Manage internal workflows and scheduling to optimize nuclear pharmacy operations.
• Assist in plans to lower costs, increase efficiency and drive profitable growth.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to understand component availability and aid in demand planning.
• Participate in administrative tasks and customer interactions.
• Deliver doses when necessary.
• Provide emergency coverage in Kentucky and West Virginia as needed.
