Job summary

Cardinal Health's Nuclear Pharmacy team seeks a licensed pharmacist in Ohio to oversee clinical and operational aspects of radiopharmaceuticals. Responsibilities include compounding, quality control, and distribution coordination to ensure safe, timely patient care in a regulated environment.

The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts, weekend/on-call coverage, and driving duties. Authorized User credentials are preferred; salary range listed below reflects this specialized field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required by start date.
• Valid Pharmacist's license in Ohio, or able to obtain.
• Authorized User certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients as staff pharmacist, including compounding nuclear medications and directing distribution with drivers.
• Maintain inventory and place orders to ensure drug availability; identify alternatives to mitigate risks.
• Lead hiring, onboarding and performance management of pharmacy staff.
• Manage internal workflows and staffing to optimize operations.
• Support cost reduction, efficiency, and profitability plans for nuclear pharmacy.
• Coordinate relationships with suppliers and vendors for drug components and demand planning.
• Participate in administrative tasks and customer interactions.
• Perform other duties including delivering doses when needed.
