Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Shippingport, Pennsylvania, seeks a seasoned Nuclear Performance Assessor to evaluate overall station performance and identify organizational gaps that hinder excellence. The role reports to the Senior Director, Fleet Performance Assessment and interfaces with senior leaders to drive timely actions.

The ideal candidate has extensive nuclear management experience, a broad background across departments, and holds an SRO license or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Senior-level nuclear management experience or equivalent will be considered.
• Broad background in nuclear power across multiple departments is preferred.
• SRO license or equivalent management certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Performance Assessment function to improve site performance.
• Review performance of functional and cross-functional areas with leadership and personnel.
• Generate monthly roll-up observations and quarterly performance reports for governance.
• Elevate unresolved issues through the formal escalation process to leadership.
• Interface with INPO and NRC oversight bodies as needed.
