Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Shippingport, PA is seeking a Nuclear Performance Assessor to evaluate station performance and identify organizational shortfalls. You will work with senior leaders to oversee cross-functional areas and elevate issues to plant management when needed.

The role requires a senior nuclear manager with a broad background, a licensed operator (SRO) or equivalent certification, and at least two years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in nuclear power.
• 2+ years of professional management experience desired.
• Senior Reactor Operator License or Management Certification (SRO) required.

Responsibilities

• Improve site performance through the Performance Assessment function.
• Meet with senior leaders and debrief developing issues and observations.
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports for executive reviews and committee inputs.
• Escalate issues to appropriate management levels when progress stalls.
• Interface with INPO and NRC as part of external oversight.
