Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Nuclear Performance Assessor to evaluate overall station performance by independently assessing organizational effectiveness and identifying shortfalls in performance against targets.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Fleet Performance Assessment and requires senior nuclear management experience across multiple departments, with readiness for escalation and direct feedback to site leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 6 years of nuclear power experience.
• Minimum two years of first-level management experience.
• Broad, varied nuclear power background with cross-department experience.
• Senior Manager readiness within 1-2 years.
• SRO license or management certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Performance Assessment function to improve site performance.
• Review performance of functional and cross-functional areas with leadership.
• Escalate issues to ensure timely actions and elevate ownership.
• Generate reports and presentations for executive review and committees.
