Job summary

Sonic Systems International is seeking Equipment Technicians for the Fall 2026 Nuclear Outage Season in Houston, TX. Training begins June 2026. Candidates must be able to travel, pass screenings, and work in a radioactive environment.

Ideal applicants have mechanical/electrical aptitude, experience with automated/robotic systems, and the ability to read isometric drawings. A high school diploma and valid driver\'s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in automated/robotic environments preferred.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol test and background check.
• Must have valid driver\'s license.
• Willingness to travel 3–12 weeks per outage season.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in an automated/robotic environment. Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and complete repairs.
• Read and navigate isometric drawings and plant layouts to locate components.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights, with safety protocols in place.
• Assist with setting up complex tooling systems and networked camera operations.
