Zusammenfassung

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an intern to support our SPL Operation group. This internship provides hands-on experience with precision machining and nuclear operations workflows, including in-cell CNC machining, robotics-assisted material handling, and automated transfer processes.

The internship follows a 4x10 on-site schedule at our Materials and Fuels Complex campus. Start date and duration vary by project and student availability. Course credit may be earned for eligible interns.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled full-time in ABET accredited undergrad program in Machining, Nuclear Operations, Mechanical/ Nuc Eng, Electrical Eng, Industrial Eng, Civil Eng, Manufacturing Eng or closely related.
• Minimum overall GPA 3.0.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT/OPT).
• Current resume or CV on file.
• Unofficial transcripts including current and completed programs.
• Current class schedule with credits.

Aufgaben

• Support SPL Operation group with precision machining and nuclear operations workflows.
• Assist in in-cell CNC machining, robotics-assisted material handling, and automated transfer processes.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support startup of new operational processes.
• Develop foundational nuclear operations skills under guidance.
