Job summary

Duke Energy is hiring a Manager Nuc NDE Inspection Svcs to lead the NDE Services organization across six nuclear facilities. The role reports to the Director of Programs Engineering and may be located at McGuire Island or other Duke Energy sites.

Responsibilities include overseeing NDE programs, budgets, training, and collaboration with site teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate has extensive nuclear experience and leadership in NDE.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree in related inspection field and 10 years nuclear experience.
• In lieu of a technical degree, 12 years nuclear experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NDE program across six nuclear facilities to ensure safe, efficient outages.
• Manage staff including supervisors and NDE Level III personnel.
• Develop outage support plans and budgets with cost and manpower optimization.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and safe work practices in nuclear generation.
• Coach staff and drive performance improvements and development plans.
• Collaborate with sites and departments to support work management and reliability initiatives.
