Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Manager NDE Inspection Svcs to lead the Non-Destructive Examination program across six nuclear facilities. The role reports to the Director of Programs Engineering and may be located at McGuire Island or other Duke Energy sites.

You will supervise NDE staff and contract personnel, oversee outage support plans, and ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of NDE activities while driving continuous improvement and training.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree in related inspection field and 10 years nuclear experience.
• In lieu of a technical degree, 12 years nuclear experience.
• 10 years of professional level NDE experience in any method.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NDE Program including outage planning and implementation across six nuclear facilities.
• Oversee NDE Level III personnel under contract and Duke Energy personnel.
• Develop outage budgets and identify cost/manpower savings within responsibility.
• Ensure NDE activities are performed safely, on time, and with high quality.
• Chair the NDE Training Review Committee (TRC) and drive staff development.
• Collaborate with other departments to support work/outage management and reliability initiatives.
