Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Manager Nuc NDE Inspection Svcs to lead the NDE Services organization across six nuclear facilities, reporting to the Director of Programs Engineering. This role can be located at McGuire Island or other Duke Energy locations.

You will oversee online and outage NDE planning, supervise staff and contract personnel, manage budgets, and drive safety, efficiency and training through the NDE Training Review Committee and IDP development.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree in related inspection field and 10 years nuclear experience.
• In lieu of a technical degree, 12 years nuclear experience.
• 10 years of professional level NDE experience in any method.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NDE program across six nuclear facilities to ensure safe and timely completion.
• Manage outages plans and NDE contracts, including budgets and cost savings opportunities.
• Chair the NDE Training Review Committee (TRC) and develop IDPs for staff.
• Provide engineering expertise to resolve complex problems and ensure safe operation of plant systems.
