Job summary
Medical City Denton is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follow physician orders, and deliver excellent patient care. This role includes on-call coverage and strict adherence to safety protocols.
The ideal candidate holds NMTCB/TDSHS/BLS licensure (AHA/ARC), at least 1 year of experience, and an Associate Degree. Certification as CNMT/NMT is preferred. No travel is required and a comprehensive benefits package is included.
Qualifications
- Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
- 1 year of experience required.
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
- Associate Degree.
- (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Responsibilities
- Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures and follows physician orders.
- Provides excellent patient care and customer service.
- Participates in on-call/holiday coverage and maintains competencies.
- Completes records and documentation and participates in equipment quality control.
- Practices radiation safety and contributes to department initiatives.
