Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with department protocols and regulatory standards. You will work with Nuc Med and PET/CT systems, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

The role includes collaboration with radiologists, case reviews, data transfers to PACS, and potential teaching responsibilities. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 and relocation assistance are available for relocating candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: College Diploma or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• CNMT within 1 year and NMT registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Licenses/ Certifications required per IEMA and NMTCB guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment per protocols.
• Reviews cases with radiologist and verifies imaging quality and data accuracy.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and communicates with radiologists.
• Maintains imaging equipment and ensures safety and compliance with policies.
• Assists in instruction of students and may serve as lead or coordinator when needed.
