Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe imaging and radiopharmaceutical procedures. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure accurate documentation in RIS/PACS as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT Nuclear Technology certification, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred. Full-time, day shift, with opportunities for sign-on and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or higher.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or Nuclear Medicine Tech certification.
• BLS certification required or instructor level.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in radiology or nuclear medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with appropriate radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; verify identity and procedure details.
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions and ensure infection control.
• Verify orders, gather clinical history, and document findings in RIS/PACS.
• Restock supplies, transport patients, and support other technologists as needed.
• Take call when required and participate in department education.
