Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, patient-centered imaging services. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, ensure accurate studies, and maintain safety protocols. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating with physicians and staff.

The role requires an accredited NM program, ARRT-N or CNMT certification, and at least 1 year of NM experience; sign-on and relocation options are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program or Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-N or CNMT certification required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year NM clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures per department protocols.
• Verify orders, prepare patients, and ensure safety and privacy.
• Operate imaging equipment and position patients for quality studies.
• Restock supplies, transport patients, and maintain department cleanliness.
• Communicate results and follow post-procedure care instructions.
