Job summary

Responsibilities include patient scheduling, education, radiopharmaceutical handling, imaging optimization, and result reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or ARRT NM; state licensure if required by law.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or Red Cross; valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare, administer, store and dispose radiopharmaceuticals per protocol and regulations; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment; set exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform QC; troubleshoot equipment.
• Position patient; perform imaging; analyze results; enter and report scan results.
