Job summary

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging and therapy in accordance with scope, standards, and the organization's mission.

Role is onsite with a Flex shift and PRN schedule; requires CNMT or NM certification (NM/ARRT) and BLS at start. You will ensure patient safety and quality imaging while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
• Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by ARRT (NM).
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, physician's orders and does scheduling and educates patient regarding procedures.
• Prepares, administers, stores and disposes of radiopharmaceuticals per protocols and regulations; monitors patient condition.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensures safety standards and quality control.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and reports scan results; may re-position and repeat procedures.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
