Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. The role involves preparing and performing nuclear medicine exams with a focus on safety and quality imaging, under departmental procedures.

The technologist will set up equipment, position patients, verify orders, and ensure patient privacy while providing compassionate care. Prior NM experience is preferred; ARRT/NMT certification and BLS Instructor credentials are required at hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech required.
• BLS - Instructor required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to adjust technique to obtain best study and maintain image quality.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure timely correction.
• Cleans, disinfects and maintains equipment per policy.
