Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. You will perform a variety of NM procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure imaging studies meet department standards.

The role emphasizes patient safety, precise technique, and independent judgment in imaging acquisition. The position requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical setting experience caring for patients (may include clinical rotations).
• Nuclear medicine experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Adjust technique to obtain best study with quality imaging.
• Ensure patient identity and correct site are used; follow procedures for radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Maintain infection control, clean and disinfect equipment, and report malfunctions.
• Review images for radiologist-approved quality and release patients promptly.
• Assist other technologists and support staff; maintain patient privacy and comfort.
