Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our imaging department. You will prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies, calibrate equipment, and perform scans using scanners or scintillation cameras to assist physicians.

Candidates should hold CNMT or NMT certification (or ARRT approvals), graduate from AMA‑accredited radiologic technology programs, and have 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• CNMT or NMT certification required or ARRT‑R/ARRT‑N credentials.
• AMA‑accredited program graduate with Radiologic Technology background.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders.
• Calibrate equipment and perform diagnostic studies using scanners or cameras.
• Administer therapeutic radiopharmaceutical doses under physician guidance.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and disposal guidelines.
