St. David's South Austin Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our Radiology team in Texas. You will perform NM exams, administer radioactive materials, ensure safety, and explain procedures to patients.

The role requires familiarity with Spect Cameras and PACS, with CNMT/ARRT certifications and JRCNMT education preferred. This is a PRN, on-site position within a leading healthcare network.

Competenze

• Graduate from an approved Joint Review Committee on Education Program in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) program or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
• Certified or Temporary Certified by Texas Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist; CNMT/ARRT certification; Board eligible to CNMT/ARRT examinations within 24 months.

Mansioni

• Perform Nuclear Medicine exams in accordance with SDMC Medical Imaging protocols.
• Administer prescribed radioactive materials to patients as outlined by regulations.
• Demonstrate proper radioactive materials safety for self, staff and patients.
• Explain procedures to patients prior to exams.
• Demonstrate proficiency with NM equipment (Spect Cameras, PACS).
• Maintain documentation regarding radioactive materials.
• Perform surveys and document findings of work areas and storage areas.
