Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to perform diagnostic procedures and provide patient care in a hospital setting. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating advanced imaging equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has ARRT NM certification or eligibility, a radiologic technology background, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Two-year RT or four-year BA program followed by Nuclear Medicine training.
  • ARRT NM certification or eligibility with exam within 9 months of hire.
  • BCLS within 30 days of start date.
  • Minimum one year hospital Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • Able to complete sonography requisitions and operate equipment safely.
  • Experience with Radiology filing systems.
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine tests for diagnosis and research.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Operate high-level imaging equipment to record images.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physicists, pharmacists, nurses and staff.
  • Comply with safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
