St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our imaging team.

This role requires ARRT and NMTCB standards adherence, with duties spanning from neonatal to geriatric imaging, patient care, and radiation safety. The Technologist will operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, follow approved protocols, and maintain high-quality, timely scans while supporting department efficiency and patient comfort.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Graduate of JRCERT accredited program or AMA approved Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine program.
• Two to three years experience as Radiologic Tech preferred.

Aufgaben

• Produce images in accordance with ARRT and NMTCB standards.
• Follow Bureau of Radiation Control and hospital policies for radiology practice.
• Provide patient care from neonatal to geriatric populations with high-quality imaging.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment efficiently.
• Complete scans in a timely manner and manage workflow.
• Adjust protocols for age or disease as appropriate and ensure radiation safety (ALARA).
• Explain procedures to patients and families and maintain patient dignity and privacy.

Ausbildung

Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology

Graduate of JRCERT or AMA accredited Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine program

Two to three years as Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
