Job summary
RAYUS Radiology in Orlando, FL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate scanners and deliver patient-centered imaging services. You will perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine procedures, ensure safety, and maintain accurate RIS records under physician direction.
The ideal candidate is NMTCB registered, AMA radiography graduate, licensed in the state if applicable, CPR certified, and able to work independently with strong communication.
Qualifications
- NMTCB registered technologist
- AMA approved school of radiography
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state
- CPR certification
- Training to perform Nuclear Medicine independently
- Certification in imaging specialty
Responsibilities
- Operate scanners to produce diagnostic images
- Explain procedures and prep patients for imaging
- Perform routine and advanced Nuclear Medicine imaging with patient care
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals per NRC rules
- Maintain RIS records and ensure safety standards
- Follow safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines
- Maintain equipment and participate in QC tasks
- Assist with training of new staff
