Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. You will operate scanners to produce diagnostic images and provide patient-centered care, guiding patients through exam procedures with clear explanations.

Responsibilities include performing routine and advanced Nuclear Medicine imaging, administering radiopharmaceuticals per NRC regulations, maintaining safety, and keeping accurate RIS records. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• NMTCB registered technologist required.
• AMA approved radiography program graduate.
• CPR certification in good standing.
• Imaging specialty certification preferred.
• PET/PET-CT knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients prior to exam and confirms correct patient and procedure.
• Explains and prepares patients for Nuclear Medicine imaging and positions them.
• Performs routine and advanced Nuclear Medicine imaging with minimal supervision.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals per NRC regulations and policies.
• Maintains safety, documents in RIS, and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Adjusts scan parameters and uses dose-reduction techniques when needed.
• Maintains equipment and supports radiologist, staff and patients.
• Trains new associates and assists with protocol documentation.
