Job Summary and Qualifications

Nuclear Medical Technologist

Our Imaging Teams are committed and caring. We seek a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, performed carefully, compassionately, and respectfully. Patient care is our priority.

Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

• Using radioactive isotopes for organ and body scans.
• Preparing radioactive isotopes for patient administration, following physicians' orders, and recording dosages.
• Performing diagnostic studies with scanners or scintillation cameras to produce images.
• Positioning patients and adjusting immobilization devices.
• Explaining procedures compassionately and addressing patient concerns.
• Monitoring, recording, and communicating via computerized documentation.
• Assisting with patient transportation if needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program.
• AART (NM) and/or CNMT Certification.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
